The best deals on Disney's Santa Buddies and Snow White

I pre-ordered Santa Buddies for my kids because they loved Snow Buddies, but I'm thinking I'm going to return that when it comes because there are some great deals that will start tomorrow.

If you just want to buy Santa Buddies, Target has the best deal.

Santa Buddies is priced at $19.99 for the Blu Ray combo pack (this includes a regular DVD copy if you don't have a Blu Ray yet). There is a $10 printable coupon here. You end up paying just $9.99 out of pocket!

Here's the breakdown:

Buy Santa Buddies Blu Ray combo pack - $19.99

Use $10 printable coupon here

Pay $9.99 out of pocket!

**I'd recommend going early - from what I have heard, they have been selling out of these Blu Ray combo packs quickly when there are coupons available, too.

If you want to buy both Snow White and Santa Buddies, Toys 'R Us has the best deal:

The Snow White Blu Ray combo pack (which includes the regular DVD, too) is priced at $16.99 and there is a $5 printable coupon here. Santa Buddies is priced at $24.99 and there is a $10 printable coupon here. There is also an $8 instant bonus when you purchase these two qualifying movies. You also get a $10 TRU gift card when you spend $40 on Disney movies.

Here's the breakdown:

Buy Snow White Blu Ray Combo - $16.99
Buy Santa Buddies - $24.99

Use $5 Snow White printable
Use $10 Santa Buddies printable

-$8 TRU instant discount

Spend $18.98 OOP, get a $10 TRU gift card!

Here's my plan for TRU:

Buy 2 copies of Santa Buddies - $24.99/each
Spend $25.02ish on Star Wars toys (for gifts!)

Use 2 $10 Santa Buddies printable coupons
Use $5/20 Star Wars printable coupon here

-$8 instant TRU discount for movies
-$35 TRU gift cards (from previous deals)

Spend $7 OOP, get $20 in TRU gift cards ($10 gift card for a purchase of $75 or more and $10 gift card for spending $40 on Disney movies)

Frequently asked questions:

Do you really do multiple transactions at your stores?

In the past, I usually had $20-30 ECB on hand, so I didn't have to break up my transactions as much as I did when I first started, but now that I am starting over, yes, I am doing multiple transactions. If you are doing multiple transactions, I recommend that you let the cashier know up front that is what you are planning to do. If there are several people in line, let them go in between your transactions. This gives you time to clip your ECBs and get prepared for your next transaction.

My store was out of all the freebie items first thing this morning. Can I get a raincheck?

This all depends on your store. I have contacted corporate about this before because some stores in my area give rainchecks and others won't. According to corporate, this is up to the individual stores.

I bought the wrong item or I bought the RIGHT item and my ECB didn't print. What can I do?

If you bought the right item, show the store clerk your ad and your receipt. They should be able to manually print your ECB at the store. If they don't know how, you can call customer service and they can add one to your account that will print within 48 hours (you have to wait 48 hours from your purchase time to do this so they can "see" your transaction in their computer).

If you bought the wrong item and didn't receive ECBs, you can do a return and purchase the correct item. If you paid using ECBs, they will have to give you money on a gift card.

Target deals for the week of 11/22

Target now offers price matching. You can check out their policy here.

At Target, you can use one Target coupon and one manufacturer's coupon per item. The printable Target coupons now state "one per transaction" meaning you can only use one "like" coupon per transaction. The Target coupons from the inserts do not have this wording and neither do the Target toy coupons. You can read/print their coupon policy here.

They are also offering a .05 credit when you bring in your own reusable shopping bag!

Please keep in mind that pricing may vary based on area. Please check your ad for specific pricing.

Spend $20.98 OOP, earn $23 in RR - $10 RR (Almay), $3 RR (Theraflu), $5 RR (Triaminic), $4 RR (Dulcolax), and $1 RR (Hershey's)

If you need formula:

Buy 1 holiday gift bag - $.10 w/ in ad coupon

Use 2 $2 Theraflu printables

Use Walgreens in ad coupon for the gift bag

Total after coupons = $25.09

Use $5/25 coupon

If you have a $3 Bic RR, follow the Theraflu or Nabisco scenarios above.

Some helpful tips:
*At Walgreens, you cannot do a promotion more than once in a transaction and earn Register Rewards. So, if you buy more than 1 Ricola this week in one tranasction, you can still only earn 1 $1 RR.

*You also typically cannot use the Register Rewards earned from a promotion on the same promotion and earn Register Rewards again. For example, if you buy Theraflu, get a $3 RR and use it to buy more Theraflu, another RR will not print.

*Typically, you cannot use the Register Rewards earned from a promotion with the same manufacturer and earn Register Rewards again.

*Register Rewards are considered to be "manufacturer's coupons" and you can only use one manufacturer's coupon per item. You will have to add "filler" items. The in ad coupons often have good, inexpensive filler items. (there are LOTS of great filler items this week - check out the weekly match-ups here for ideas)

*If you are buying items that would result in a "free" item or "overage" when combining a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon, give the manufacturer's coupon FIRST, and the store coupons LAST to avoid beeping/issues at the register! Make sure that you are purchasing enough items in your total transaction to "cover" the overage. You will not get cash back and you will have to add items to cover the overage or they will not take the coupon.

*If your Register Reward doesn't print for some reason and you have fulfilled all of the obligations for the "deal" (including not using RR from the same parent company to pay) DO NOT let them tell you it is because you used coupons! Chances are they didn't print because the catalina machine is not working. You have two choices: you can return your items and try again or you can contact the catalina company by doing the following:
*The store will give you a form to fill out and mail in to catalina
*Call 1-888-8coupon, option 3
*Use the online form to contact them: Contact Catalina Marketing (when I have tried contacting them this way, my results have not been very good....your best bet is to call)
